About a month ago I ventured up to Vivian Park with a friend to snap some photos of the place. This first photo is my favorite, by far, even though it could've been taken anywhere. The second makes my mouth water for hot dogs and s'mores. Every time I'm around a campfire at least one of those food items is present.

Utah Landscape Photography
I was driving home from my day job and couldn't help but drive to the lake to see the beautiful sky from this frozen landscape.

Life Photography
In honor of my post two weeks ago I would like to share this image with you. That post can be found directly here. It's a past image of mine and I wanted to slightly change its meaning.

Europe Landscape Photography
Two and a half years ago I was in Europe, the most incredible trip I've taken yet! So much exploring, not much relax time just go go go. And it's wonderful. I was in southern England and Paris, France. I loved the people in both countries, everyone was so welcoming and friendly.
Anyways.
Here are some of my favorite landscape photographs from the trip.

Utah Landscape Photography
I've always been attracted to water. When I was little my favorite Disney princess was Ariel because she lived "under da sea." (And Jasmine because she had Rajah, but that's besides the point.) Anyways, I've always been somewhat of a fish, loving anything that had to do with water--from splashing in puddles during a rainstorm to riding jet skis on Willard Bay. So it should be no surprise that I love this little river that, aside from the bicycle path on the north side, is fairly untouched by man and relatively few people know of this area.
If you're a client of mine, you probably have been to this location and may have experienced this blossom of life. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I hope that, from this picture, you can feel what this scene is like. I hope that you can smell the lively trees and hear the flapping of wings that may be overhead. If you still don't get it, give me a call and I'll take you there. Don't mind if my camera joins us.
Let's do some portraits here! Call me. 801-692-3090

Alpine Fire
The fire in Alpine occured July 3, 2012 and lasted for a small number of days. The east mountain used to be green, yellow, and purple, full of life. The trees gave a sweet scent, and when the breeze passed by there was a light rustling of soft leaves. Now the east mountain is mostly brown, burnt to crisp. The only scent is ash. Anything touched exhales thin sheets of black powder.
These images were taken a week after people were let back into their homes.
